As many of you know, I love to make cakes; so much so, that I thought I'd dabble with a blog to keep a record of my latest baking efforts!
I'm a real believer in unadulterated foods, so always cook my cakes from scratch using fresh ingredients, including real butter and always, always, free range organic eggs. Happy browsing!

Robin Nest and Christmas Pudding Crispy Cakes
These robin nests were made for Christmas 2009 and were made from Shredded Wheat and chocolate-coated brazil nuts.
These Christmas pudding crispy cakes were made with Rice Krispies and dried mixed fruit.
Dear Rachel I love the pudding cakes. I would like to make some with my class at school but cannot work out how to shape the chocolate coated rice krispies into a ball. Can you help, please?
Hi There, I made these ones by shaping the coated krispies into an icecream/potato scoop. It was still a bit messy though, so would suggest an alternative method by clingfimling some cupcake tins and shaping them in there, removing when set. Good luck!
